Objectives: To describe the reliability and consistency of a questionnaire about physical activity and sedentarism time in children from 6 to 12 years old during COVID-19 social distance; to identify the effects of sex and age on physical activity and sedentarism time. Methods: Cross-sectional study carried out with a convenient sample of 125 girls and 136 boys ranged 6 from 12 years old. Participants answer a “Movement Behavior Questionnaire” (MBQ). Sedentarism (SED), light (LPA), moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) were estimated in minutes. Statistical intraclass coefficient correlations, Cronbach’s Alpha and Cohens D were applied. Results: MBQ consistency and reliability values are superior to 0.70 for the general Sample. The 9 items presented 0.271 to 0.783 for inter-items matrix correlations. Conclusions: MBQ presented adequate consistency and reliability values. Furthermore, there are differences in the practice of LPA, MVPA, and SED time between ages and sexes. It is an easy method to diagnose and estimate MVPA, LPA, and SED in physical education in remote, no presential or presential classes for parents and children.
